The Kiel University of Applied Sciences is Schleswig-Holstein's largest university of applied sciences, with nearly 7,500 students and six faculties.
It is very active in the area of technology transfer and operates FuE-Zentrum FH Kiel GmbH for this purpose. The task of the R&D centre is to conduct research and development projects jointly with private companies.
