Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter Biologie (m/w/d)

Das FuE-Zentrum ist die Schnittstelle zwischen Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft und koordiniert und führt angewandte maritime Forschung durch. Offshore-Aquakultur und die Naturwiederherrstellung sind zwei Bereiche unserer umfassenden Expertise (z. B. EU-Projekte UNITED und ULTFARMS). Wir bauen unsere maritime Projektabteilung aus und akquirieren neue Projekte in marinen Bereichen aus Biologie, Technik und Wirtschaft.

Das erwartet Dich:

Erstellung von Förderanträgen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Team Maritime Projekte und Projektpartner*innen aus der Wirtschaft
Eigenverantwortliche Übernahme inhaltlicher, organisatorischer und koordinierender Aufgaben im Bereich Fördermittelbeantragung inkl. Terminüberwachung
Recherche und Analyse von Fördermittelprogrammen für maritime Projekte auf EU-, Bundes- und Landesebene
Unterstützung bei der Planung und inhaltlichen Projektumsetzung im Bereich Aquakultur und Naturwiederherstellung
Datenverarbeitung sowie statistische Datenanalyse, Dokumentation der Arbeit
Erstellung regelmäßiger Fortschrittsberichte des Projekts für den/die Auftraggeber*in
Möglichkeit zur Erstellung von wissenschaftlichen Veröffentlichungen
Teilnahme an nationalen und internationalen Projekttreffen, Konferenzen, Workshops (inkl. Vorbereitung von Präsentationen)

Das bringst Du mit:

Du verfügst idealerweise über einen Hochschulabschluss in Biologie oder verwandten Bereichen
Drei Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem themenrelevanten Bereich
Du arbeitest gerne eigenständig aber als Teil eines Teams zur gemeinsamen Lösungsfindung
Du bist flexibel und motiviert, dich interdisziplinar in neue Themen einzuarbeiten, hast Organisationstalent und behältst auch in herausfordernden Phasen den Überblick
Du bist kooperativ und besitzt ein gutes Maß an Sozialkompetenz auch im internationalen Umfeld mit unterschiedlichen Mentalitäten und Kulturen
Deine Englischkenntnisse entsprechen mindestens dem Niveau B1
Du hast Erfahrung in der Projektakquise
Dir sind interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit und EU-Projektarbeit idealerweise vertraut und du bist Teil eines entsprechenden Netzwerks

Die Stelle mit einer Arbeitszeit von 30 Stunden pro Woche bietet ein hohes Maß an Gestaltungsfreiheit. Sie ist kurzfristig zu besetzen und zunächst befristet bis Juni 2026. Eine weitergehende Verlängerung ist in Abhängigkeit der bewilligten Projekte möglich.

We are seeking to fill the following position as a part-time (30 hours)

Research Associate in Biology (m/f/d)

The FuE-Centre is the linkage between research and industry by coordinating and conducting applied maritime research. Offshore aquaculture and aquatic nature restoration are two areas of our broad expertise (e.g. EU projects UNITED and ULTFARMS). We are expanding our maritime project department and acquire new projects in marine fields covering biology, technique and economy.

What can you expect:

- Preparation of proposals in cooperation with the Maritime Projects team and project partners from industry and science

- Responsible for organisation and coordination of all funding related tasks as content and deadlines

- Researching and analysing funding programmes for maritime projects at EU, federal and state level

- Supporting the planning and implementation of projects in the field of aquaculture and nature restoration

- Data processing and statistical data analysis, documentation of work

- Preparation of regular project progress reports for the funding authority

- Possibility to prepare scientific publications

- Participation in national and international project meetings, conferences, workshops (incl. preparation of presentations)

What you bring with you:

- You have a university degree in biology or a related field

- Three years of professional experience in a relevant field

- You enjoy working independently but also within a team to find solutions together

- You are flexible and motivated to familiarise yourself with new topics in an interdisciplinary manner, have a talent for organisation and maintain an overview even in challenging phases

- You are cooperative and have a good level of social skills, including in an international environment with different mentalities and cultures

- Your level of English is at least B1 and German C2

- Ideally you have experience in project acquisition

- Ideally, you are familiar with interdisciplinary collaboration and EU project work and are part of a matching network
