FuE-Zentrum FH Kiel GmbH is an independent company that ensures a mutually beneficial transfer of technology between institutions of higher education and industry. Its shareholders are Kiel University of Applied Sciences and Förde Sparkasse, a savings bank.

Fachhochschule Kiel

The Kiel University of Applied Sciences is Schleswig-Holstein's largest university of applied sciences, with nearly 7,500 students and six faculties.

It is very active in the area of technology transfer and operates FuE-Zentrum FH Kiel GmbH for this purpose. The task of the R&D centre is to conduct research and development projects jointly with private companies.

Förde Sparkasse

The Förde Sparkasse is the result of a merger of the savings banks of the cities of Eckernförde and Kiel and the Plön district.
